As you may know, wood by its very nature is already unique – no two pieces are ever the same. The final color, grain, and texture of wood are shaped by countless factors that nature controls. This makes each of our wooden phone cases utterly unique and impossible to replicate.

When this one-of-a-kind wood is combined with resin – carefully poured into every natural gap and tinted with custom-mixed pigments – the result is a product that is twice as unique. Just like no two pieces of wood are alike, no two resin mixtures or pours are ever identical.

The process of making our Behemoth Unique cases begins with sourcing and preparing raw wood – ranging from beautiful burled poplar to visually stunning suar wood from Indonesia. We select any type of wood that harmonizes well with resin. Our only limits are imagination and availability, and we source wood from all over the world.

Giving New Life to Old Wood

Discarded, damaged, or seemingly useless wood is carefully repurposed and given a second life. Once prepped, each piece is fused with resin in a custom color blend, using artistically chosen pigments. This fusion is formed into blocks from which thin panels are cut and crafted into cases.

This is when the uniqueness of the pattern reveals itself – and where the "law of the series" comes into play. From each batch, there are just a handful of cases – sometimes as few as five to fifteen per color variant.
